you just feel that you want to retreat from the world.
you just want to back out from everything.
you just want to be alone.
you just want to give up.
you just want to push yourself, but you are tired.
you just want to persevere, but you are lacking in the drive to do so.
you are overwhelmed.
you feel defeated.
you are just on the verge of breaking down.
that's my feelings.
totally.
much as i need a hug or just some support, you just don't know who to turn to.
in summary, (quote daniel), life really sucks the life out of me.
okay. blogger is going mad now. oh well. or is it the internet. anyway, a few stuff to update about before i start doing my lit assignment.
CT investiture was on 13/8, and it was not bad at all! emceeing with nicholas was really fun, even though he forgot his lines in the beginning and i had to like remind him. feng rong was damn cute even before the actual thing started. kept asking me to like calm down, but in the end he was the one that was the most nervous, and he kept mxing up my lines and nick's lines. HAHAHA. overall, despite the technical faults, well, i would say that it was quite good for a mean, first feat for ct investiture. i mean like, come on, we are the FIRST BATCH to hold this inagural event. definitely there will be some glitches here and there. perfection does not apply here you know. lol. i was glad that i could see my class' photo collage, and see their delighted faces when they watched it. well, i would say that my emceeing standards went down by quite a bit, but nevertheless, the element of enjoying this was still there. there was a buffet with the 'vips' after the event, and the food was not too bad. spoke to mrs chong, mr sequeira, and mr kwek. well, we had to speak to them, okay strike that. it was a must to speak to them. yeah. lessons resumed after that, then i went to find the planning committee after school to crap and help them with the black orientation tees. well, feng rong and i were busy playing with the strings before doing the black orientation tees. you know, like doing friendship bands and stuff. discussed about ct congress , which in my opnion got to nowhere. headed home wih catherine and feng rong.
I AM STILL HAVING POST INVESTITURE WITHDRAWAL SYMPTOMS. REALLY. i mean like, i REALLY REALLY REALLY miss the times that we spent together, practising and fooling around, and laughing at lame jokes. unlike what nick said, that rehearsals were bearable, i would say that rehearsals were more than bearable. it was great FUN! i miss all the times walking around the hall with nick while we practise our lines, then yu yin always calling for me and our hugs and gossip and complaints, then feng rong for his 'hilarious curtain move'(HAHA. ONLY I HAVE SEEN IT!!), then wei yao for his load of crap, catherine for her complains and hugs and gossip too. oh man. so how can you say i don't miss investiture?
met up with catherine, feng rong, nick, wei yao and vanessa at suki sushi at cinelesiure on saturday. and it was a great buffet that we had. i managed to eat about 8 plates on my own. and i broke my own record of a pathetic 4. lol. i really enjoyed eating with them and we talked A LOT. although there was this period of time i was only talking to feng rong about a certain, important issue. and the rest said that we were in our own world already. hahaha. walked to hereen after that, and then because vanessa and i were talking, then the other 4 ps us. but they failed in tricking us!! haha. we realised that they were missing, so we suspected they went into hmv, so we went to the 2nd floor of hmv and waited for them outside the entrance/exit. and that was when they realised they failed. but being them, they did not give up. when we wanted to go to ION, they ps us again. so vanessa and i decided to go to ION first, and we ended up splitting up. i don't know how they ended up outside taka, but in the end we met at take to take photos before nick and i left. anyway, ION'S toilets are damn nice! but the crowds there were like oh my tian. went home, then out for dinner again with family at muthu's curry. i was sad that i was so full after lunch, otherwise i would have eaten a lot for dinner. i love indian food you know! haha.
anyway nothing much this week, except that i took SPA on tuesday, which was good. then there was class photo taking. apparently this year there is no formal class photo taking. but informal, and photo collage at that. interesting!
i miss investiture:(

i have been really busy lately. and probably will only have time to update only once in a while.
mostly these few days i have been thinking a lot about myself, a phase of self questioning.
really.
i just wonder. who am i really? a strong girl that no matter how tired she is, will not give up on herself and will not give up on helping the people around her. yes? no? yet, there are times, i really feel that i am just a weak person. i really feel like giving up on myself, giving up on caring for the people around me,that do not even realise my existence.
yet, i just seem to be unable to bring myself to do it. it's like, it feels second nature to me. always being there for anyone who seems to need it, much as i don't have the energy and ability to do so.
it's like, there seems to be a mask. a mask that i put on frequently. in front of majority of the people, i am that crazy girl who always says hi to every friend that i meet in school or outside, that tries to liven up the sombre mood of events, that always has crazy stunts. yet, deep rooted inside me, there seems to be this unearthed loneliness and sadness. is it because of everything that has been happening lately? i don't know, but that could be a possibility.
you know, after the many ct investiture rehearsals, i realised that being a class chairperson is really no mean feat. to be able to handle everyone in the class without offending anyone of them, it's like climbing mount everest. you want the class to be bonded. but they resist it. you ask them something. and their answer is anything. or worse still, they don't care. all the sacrifices that you have made, you wonder, are they worth it? i really do not know the answer. even though there is this repeated saying that you are not out to please people but to please God, but has anyone shared that it will be very tough.
and then being a repeat j1 student just adds in to your stress. you have to do well. you must do well. and you cannot fail anymore. and that fact just keeps staring at you millions of times.
life is tiring, one might say. and i have to agree. it is indeed tiring.
but i have to keep trusting God, i guess. trust trust trust.
can i do it?
well, i shall see.

a quick post before i go and study
yesterday was like a super hectic day for me becaue i had like 3 events packed in one day.
woke up at 6 plus, then met jia jin and his friends luke and eugene at serangoon central's macs at 9 before heading to school for squash. so we basically played king and had matches as well. well, it was great to work out again after 2 days of tests which made me so upset. jia jin and his friends are really not bad at squash. too bad win was not there to own them. HAHA. i played majority of my games with chayadi since i needed him to coach me anyway. bought takeaway lunch from coffeeshop nearby then i rushed to the hall for rehearsal. practised emceeing with nicholas till i had a sore throat la. then headed home, and out again to watch ndp preview.
whoa. the weather was like madness la. i was sweating like crazy before i even reached the floating platform at marina bay. but it was expected because there were huge crowds of people. saw gor gor before i went to find my seat, only to realise that he was in charge of mentoring the sector where i was seated in. there were a total of 5 funny emcees- gurmit singh, vernetta lopez, michelle chong, mark lee and suhaimi yusof. practically laughed non stop at their jokes. the parade in general was normal, and the mass displays were not bad. the concept of having more videos these year was better and more attractive. however, the fireworks were a disappointment. i think previous years one were better. nonetheless, it was good overall.
okay i got to go after i upload the photos!
