back again.to sum up my ENTIRE WEEK(: HEH.
monday: well, was in school and with my precious 1.5 hour break, i studied with daniel and half the time that noob was so distracting. no,not because of his looks, but because of his lame jokes and sarcastic remarks -.- met him after school and i accidentally smacked his uber SWEATY back. grossed me out. totally. i only relented in lowering the flags when he got his back DRIED. haha. had training today, without my shoes. i did not know that you cannot wear running shoes into the squash court. OH MY TIAN. but coach was funny. we practised bouncing of the balls using the rackets. took the bus back with sherlyn. she is such a cute girl!
tuesday: er. OH OH OH. my nice girls from 0909 started with a list of potential candidates of boyfriends (for me,duh), having high hopes that they will choose the right one for me. what they did not know was that i can only have christian boyfriends. so the list was kind of useless. thanks dan for walking to the bus stop with me today and keeping me accompany all the way! you rock! just that i think your head had an extra balaku because of that little bumping thing in the bus when you fell asleep. nice one. hee hee.
wednesday: er, the list grew longer because of my dearest girls from my class. haiyo. watched this very exhilarating performance by this taiwan drum group. can you believe it- those drummers are so so GOOD that i am so shocked that they are of my age. now i am starting to get that inferiority complex. again. training again. and instead of ending at 5, we ended at like 6 plus. oh,and sorry to dan for showing a little bad mood while lowering flags. ya,lowered the flags, again. went to j8 to meet mummy and do some grocery shopping, and for the 1st time since ages ago, i had dinner at 9p.m.
thursday: because i had a rather good rest the night before, so my mood was slightly better. went to j8 with weiying, sarah and lorraine to see the squash rackets and then back to school to lower flags. and it was pouring like as if buckets of water kept coming down from the sky. that was how much rain there was. i was even thinking if i needed to get drenched while lowering flags. well, i ended up waiting for the rain to stop and was studying with the girls. one funny thing happened. i was studying, and someone was in the library too. so the girls happened to be talking to him, then yin yee turned her head and thought she saw a familiar figure, but did not know who was that. then when i looked up, i had a weird looking expression--shocked + i don't know what. and suddenly, yy,shihui and pikfern burst out into fits of laughter. me too. you should have seen my classic expression. it was priceless. LOL. the familiar figure, well, only the person who reads this will know what happened. lowered flag, yes, again but i don't have a choice?
friday: school, then a rushed trip to daiso with dan and i got my pencil case and clips, and BAPTISM. ya that is the highlight. but i will keep it minimal. all i can say was that it was just ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. i really thank God that i was given the chance to be baptised. thanks to all those that came, and thanks for all the lovely gifts!
stagnant blog again as usual.oh well, due to the fact that i have been busy with school and everything..i'll try to update if possible(:
basically this post will sum up a lot of the main events that have been happening.so sit tight! we are going on a long journey, dating back to the date of 5 jan!
ORIENTATION 2009: MADAGASCAR, WE LIKE TO MOVE IT!day 1: FIRST OFFICAL DAY OF ORIENTATION..started on 5 jan (duh). this was the very first day that i was going to meet my class that i will be sticking like glue with for the next two years of my life. i got allocated to 0909, and my group for orientation was GLORIA 3!for this year's orientation, each class was allocated 3 OGLS, so my class very fortunately had camy, jessica and ming han as the lovely dream team for ogls! i would describe camy as a sweet-natured girl with an exceptionally cute voice, jessica as the very hyped up and energetic young lady in making, and ming han as the macho guy, with a little tinge of cutness in him. :D bet they'll love me for saying this. ha. joking. so the first day started off with grand entrance, then me getting to know everyone in the class, like what school were you from etc and playing the usual ice breakers of wacko and sorts. then came the dry games which everyone enthusiastically played in. after which, we learned the 31st mass dance and oh my tian, that really got me high! i love 31st mass dance! the disappointing thing was that they did not get to learn 30th mass dance..but it's alright!
day 2: SENTOSA!! ((:today's orientation was mostly held in sentosa. well, we had the learning of the school songs in the morning, as well as a bit of tribal time, before heading to that lovely island! lunch was great because the ogls ordered pizza from canadian pizza, and we played a LOT of ice breaker games and saw through some very interesting forefeits. hee hee. now comes the dreaded part. the first games station was to find stuff in this area where yida was the gm. and guess what. while i was chasing after yida for a pencil, i got pushed, and viola, the next thing i knew was that i fell, got pulled up by ming han (THANKS A LOT! you are so nice), and saw a big bruise about the size of 2 50 cents coins on my right knee cap. bleeding of course. so yida frantically said that i was not okay when i insisted i was and got help from chun leong, who very nicely offered to carry my bag and help me to first aid. there goes my sentosa trip. :( oh well, thanks to angie for helping me to dress my wound. (: so for the next few stations mostly what i could do was to give moral support to my class by cheering super loudly. thank you 0909 for being so concerned with my fall and kept asking me to be careful and everything! went to vivocity to help buy the boxes for the ogls presents.
day 3: CCA BAZAAR!had loads of mass dance in the morning! and we successfully finished learning 31st mass dance as well as majority of trad dance! most importantly, we learned how to dance to hot n cold! heh. afterwhich, we went down to grandstand for telematch, a total repeat of one of the game stations in sentosa. haha. good job to hose exco for their organisation! cca bazaar was after that, and i practically screamed myself hoarse for trying to get people to join film art, even though i will be switching cca soon. i signed up for squash and floorball. thank you daniel (seoh) for making a very nice flower balloon for me! :D
day 4: THE BEST DAY OF ORIENTATION + WE LIKE TO MOVE IT!had tribal time in the morning to prepare for the cheering competition, and my oh my, i simply LOVE gloria's cheers, especially the hakka cheer and the i feel good cheer! after which was mass dance session. instead of alex, i danced with farid this time, God's arrangement apparently. why so? while i was dancing, the ogls were apparently observing me, and i knew it because ming han kept dancing next to me. actually, the ogls were supposed to pick out one couple from each class and go on stage for the dancing king and queen preliminary rounds, and apparently i got picked by camy, jessica and ming han. at first, i was really reluctant when jessica came to me, and eventually gave in to much persuasion from the 3 of them, and also since farid was alright with it. i was dancing with him at the 2nd row of dancers, always getting observed by kuang wen and candihra. haha. i did not expect them to include freestyle, and oh well, practically embarassed myself in front of my friends who some of them were gloria and marty ogls. oh my tian. luckily i did not get picked. heh. after lunch was wet games, and i could not play because of my injury. so sad!! but this year's wet games, i have to admit, was not as good as last year's because most people did not get really wet, whereas last year, we were practically drenched from head to toe. quickly washed up and had dinner-nasi lemak (and so much better than last year's of course) , and tribal time! of course, not forgetting to dance to hot n cold again. (: went back to the hall, and it was RAWR time! congratulations to GLORIA, for having the best RAWR! meaning, we WON CHEERING COMPETITION!!! YAYNESS! tarzan and jane (dancing king and queen) was next, and congrats to mustafa(h) from gloria, apparently asraf and farid's friend was clinching the title of tarzan! i must applaud him for being such a sleek and cool dancer, with good groove and moves. up next was the best time of the day, DISCO TIME! and i did sweat a lot with all the dancing, train-ing and grooving around. mass dance with the whole cohort came after that, and i danced with a random ogl from marty (i don't know his name la). orienation closed after that, and our class went down to the canteen to wait for our ogls for present time! we each gave them a box filled with letters handwriiten by us, asraf and farid gave to the girls, while i gave to ming han, on behalf of the class. then each received a hug from us. (: i bet they were very touched, especially ming han. HAHA. God knows why. then we took lots of photos, and home sweet home.
I AM STILL HAVING POST ORIENATION BLUES. BELIEVE ME FOR THAT.i really felt that this year's orientation was absolutely great, in fact, i enjoyed myself a lot despite being injured. see, that was how good orientation was.
had get ed seminar on friday, nothing much to elaborate, except for the fact that i was very impressed by may wong (from channel news asia). her talk really inspired me to become a tv journalist like her. haha. you'll never know if you see me on the screen of your hd tv one fine day.
on a more solemn note, grandpa passed away on saturday, which happened to be valentine's day. so from sunday to tuesday, we held the wake and funeral. grandpa was cremated in tuesday. i don't want to say much, except to thank all those who have been supporting me and that i am glad that grandpa knows God and is having a good life in heaven now. no more suffering for him.
went for squash trials on wednesday after the ashes and bones collection, and praise God, i successfully got into the team!
can't wait to start squash training tomorrow..

chinese new year came and go.but not much to say as i did not go to malaysia this year. however, somehow i feel better being in singapore then in malaysia.oops.
darius and dwayne came over to bai nian on the second day of cny. i must say the both of them have improved in getting along with one another, just that dwayne,as per normal,is doing majority of the talking.HAHA. but as usual, no offence to dwayne, but darius still looks more handsome than you. heh heh. and darius says that my room is not neat enough. wth. -.-
eddie, kristle and justin came over to bai nian on friday. well, i was damn happy to see them because...maybe seeing them just gave me the courage to face the fact once again that they are graduating before me. anyway, the two hungry *pigs* (not kristle ah) did not eat lunch and i was glad we stocked up on cny goodies this year. heh heh. but one thing i found out was that they all like to eat my favourite cny goodie too, which is cashew sugee cookie. ooh la la. the trio saw my room, well, and god knows what they were doing inside there. nah, shan't elaborate about that 'dirty' little joke. mummy says that eddie was cute, not in terms of the looks (HAHAHA), but in the sense that he actually took out mandarin oranges like some magician from his bag and used it to give to my mum. anyway, i realised that justin was very very interested in asking about when my mum was coming back. apparently that was initial. the main idea was just to DISTURB me,as per normal. can't believe now both eddie and justin gang up against me and bullied me!!!
anyway, on a more serious and solemn note, i went back to a new start on 2 feb. well, started school again, of course. honestly, the first day for me, was hell of an emotional turmoil for me. believe me,it sucked. and i am being blunt and truthful about it. well, it's just that entirely different feeling from what you have gotten from stepping into ny for the 1st time back in 2008. it feels that you are going back to fight a battle in year 1 again, 'repeating' the entire process of late nights and constant rushing of tutorials and ccas, very unlike that excited feeling that was stirring enthusiasm about ny life that was in my heart in 2008. mr jon ng took charge of that day, and i totally thank God for that. mr ng is, mark my words, a very VERY NICE teacher to have. in fact, one of the most supportive and encouraging teachers that i have seen in my life. i really hope that he becomes my ct, but ah, fat hope. there was this motivational talk by a guy called mr dennis yeo, and i really like the way he talked in a very straightforward and truthful manner, which really triggered thoughts about the whole retain issue in my life. i like the way he taught us how to see it positively, which i am currently on the journey to accomplishing that. yet, i was struggling a lot yesterday mainly because of subject combinations. i really could not decide if i should hold on to what i have been doing for the past year, or really, find out what is my cup of tea.
so..
i struggled until today. and decided to bite the bullet and take h1 lit instead of h1 geog. but definitely not without seeking help and persuasion from daniel, chong yan, regina,mr ng,miss loh, darius and most importantly,BESTIE. THANKS A LOT GUYS(: managed to make a few new friends today, including natalie. she's quite nice, and hopefully, she, yang ling and i will get to be in the same class, and we'll work hard together!
