so let me give myself a breakdown of the past week (whoa that will be like LONG)

8 dec:

had lunch with family and my uncle's family at 'THE VINES RESTAURANT' in novena. well, let's just say it was a simple lunch. food and ambience was good, the weather not so. ordered the dory fish in peach cream sauce served with garden vegetables and potatoes. not too bad, i would say(: headed to toa payoh after that for mum to grab some stuff from POPULAR, then home for tv and dinner, and out to tampines with mum and bro to look for shoes. well, apparently some are way out of budget. argh.

9 dec:

basically i woke up late in the morning because i was really tired from the previous day. jeanette and tammy came over to wish me happy birthday. so sweet of them! they got me a slice of blueberry cake, and jeanette gave me a packet of the nice mint chocoalate mentos-like sweets from germany! rushed to wash up, dressed up and out to town to meet jocelyn! i have not seen her for quite a while, so it was a good opportunity catching up with her. sorry jie for being late!! walked around town for a while, and i brought her to meet darius. HAHA. it was quite stupid because i was kind of arguing with darius in front of her..ah never mind. met seow hung at hereen before we headed for lunch at FISH & CO. i ordered the prawn fettucini with chilli cream. i ate until i did not want to eat prawns for the whole week because they are generous with the prawns! let me tell you, the assistant don't know what manager at the restaurant was damn nice. i swear his service is really really good. you know when joce found something in her drink, he did not charge her for it even though it costs 7 bucks! wow-ness. i had a good time with han and joce, like really catching up with one another. took photos in, uh-hm, of all places, after lunch, in the toilet. haha. joce rushed off for her class gathering while seow hung and i went to source for my pal's present. we stopped at spinelli for a break because she wanted to design something. so, i was at spinelli and this thing happened

me: *turns around* *sees a familiar figure walking towards the toilet* eh seow hung! is that jie hao..!?! omgomg! is that him? did i see wrongly?

sh: huh........where?

me: THEREEEE!!!! *points towards that familiar figure*

sh: you sure or not?

me: eh i don't know leh. but i think i just saw him. OMG OMG! aiya. should i call him? *paces up and down trying to figure out*

*silence for 3 mins*

me: *picks up the phone and dials the number* *phone rings.........*

jh: hello?

me: hello.hey its me.where are you?

jh: in town?

me: oh okay.are you in hereen?

jh: how did you know?

me: i think i just saw you..*laughs*

jh: oh where are you? *shocked*

me: spinelli..eh eh eh! come and find me okay??

jh: okay.

hahas.he came out later to find me, and the first thing i noticed about him was his hair. omg. he seriously needs a trim on his fringe. but nevertheless, he looks tall and lanky still. the same jie hao i used to know 2 years ago. we talked a lot, and that noob did not tell me that he changed his poly course!! never mind. anyway, seow hung had to go, so i was left alone (okay,sounds wrong) with jie hao. it was nice of him because he walked me to taka as i had to meet dwayne who was EARLY and was hurrying me. thanks jie hao!

met my pal, dwayne at mos burger.and most of the time all my pal can do is just to disturb me. and hello, i am so not a noob at apple ipod TOUCH okay. and i don't play with gadgets. i use them. LOL. so i kept pal accompany while he ate his lunch while i looked at his pictures of his trip to sydney. i so envy him! hahas. no la. gave dwayne his birthday present from darius and i (it's 77th street vouchers by the way). brought him to meet darius. and my, it is so weird seeing the two of them together because they are like worlds apart. like one's so quiet and the other's as noisy as a chatterbox. can't imagine that both of them will be in the same class next year. talked to darius for a little bit, and that pal of mine just had to keep saying how handsome darius looks in his working clothes and how compatible we look etc etc. -.- walked to ESPRIT in wheelock place after that and i saw the wallet that i have been looking for. it costs 50 bucks but i did not have enough cash on hand at that time. argh. headed home after that. my uncle's family came over, ate birthday cake and chatted for a while.

11 dec:

had lunch at amk hub- ichiban sushi restaurant. i could not eat much because of braces + rubber bands. but it was not too bad la. did grocery shopping in ntuc after that and back home!

12 dec:

woke up late again. darius messaged me at the last minute to tell me what time to meet. so i once again rushed through my washing up, bath and breakfast, and out of the house. i was so lucky that i reached at 11.30 on the dot. and guess what, he was late for 1 and a half hours. and man, i wonder where did i ever find the patience to wait for him.haha. but never mind, he got a scolding from me anyway. as usual, he looks nice in his clothes. (: walked with him to lucky plaza to help him find his ideal money changer. so we walked around for a while and i headed to meet eddie outside wisma because that dude was like rushing me la. thanks darius for walking me to the underpass (: so i met eddie,and this person just could not decide on what he wanted to have for his lunch treat. i owe him a meal because of film fest..boohoo. LOL. he gave me a birthday present! okay, it was shared between kristle and him. hmm..so we decided not to have BREEKS,which was what he wanted initially but changed his mind because of the price. so we walked to paragon to eat at 'THE SOUP SPOON'. walked there and we gave up because it was lunch hour and it was crowded. so we ended up walking to hereen (again!) for lunch. walked to the top level, and at first we just walked around to see what restaurants. we almost settled for jack's place, until i suggested NYDC. finally, we decided to eat at NYDC. after like half an hour? ..HAHA. ordered the set lunch. think i ate, oh my gosh, dory fish again, but this time round in garlic and herb sauce. NYDC's food was not bad but i think their service can be improved. saw angela and cheryl there but they did not see me. hee. bet if they saw me probably they'll think i have a boyfriend already. HAHAS. rushed off to meet kristle at cineleisure for 'THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL'. the moment we got there again kristle and eddie started their usual squabble. normal, normal. the movie was good but the ending was a bit too abrupt! walked around town for a bit before i headed home with them..THANKS YOU TWO FOR THE PRESENT! was supposed to head to airport to send darius off but i decided not to.

yesterday:

MY HOPE CHRISTMAS HARVEST EVENT! headed to raina's house in the morning for our supposed cell at 11. but i was early and everyone else was late. let me tell you this. raina's house is nice nice nice!!! anyway, so i hanged around in raina's room, talked to both jon and rach, helped her mum before the others came. gina and jason briefed us about the programme and etc. helped owen picked his students, and although i want to rant about some stuff but i think i shall not. thanks to owen, i picked up eddie and kristle. the games were not bad, the video was good and definitely, i was shocked by how i shared my testimony because i received a few thumbs up from ujin,jia shen (isaiah),gina,cheryl and jasmine. food was good too (: like duh! jason asked for those who want to accept christ and i leave it to you to guess who did so! all i can say is that, THANK GOD and i am VERY HAPPY! the cell interacted with eddie and kristle after that and i think they got along really well, which was good! many stories, jokes and laughters really brought peace to my heart. i was in fact kind of worried that they may not get along. anyway, I THANK GOD FOR YESTERDAY WAS A GREAT DAY!

today:

simple day. basically headed for service, but not before a healthy lunch of salad and clam chowder at long john silvers. service was quite good, and definitely i noticed some familiar faces in choir today (jiajin,kor,gina and mei poh!). stayed back after service to talk to gina for a while and slacked with raina and cheryl. was telling raina about something that happened yesterday. anyway, this interesting thing happened.

me: *calls jj*

jj: hello?

me: hello. hey where are you?

jj: eh..i am sitting down..

me: er sitting down? where?

raina: *points behind me*

me: *turns around* oh i know! turn around!

jj: huh?

me: turn around turn around

jj: *turns around* EH!

i totally did not know that the person i was looking for was sitting right behind me. HAHA.
